Currently we have in the Spanish scene great voices of dubbing that not only work in movies, series or videogames, they also announce advertising spots or lend their voice to the radio. We leave you a list with some of the unmistakable actors that give life to hundreds of characters on our screens.

 Antonio Esquivias: Known for being the Kelsey Grammer bender at Frasier, his voice is unmistakable. In video games we have been able to hear him in File X: The video game, The Godfather, Dead Rising 3 as John Hemlock, Ryse: Son of Rome in the role of King Oswaldo, The Order: 1886 as Lord Hastings.

Let's talk a little over the dubbing. Dubbing is the process of recording and replacing voices, for their subsequent use in different audiovisual areas: cinema, radio, television. It consists of replacing the dialogues spoken by the actors in an original language with other similar or similar dialogues in another language. The objective wasn’t just to protect the national language, but to censor and to alter the dialogues for political or moral reasons.                                                                                         DUBBING ORIGINS  Dubbing at Spain didn’t start during Franquism as a lot of people think. It was in the republic with the birth of the sound film and the necessity of understanding the films that come from other languages. It wasn’t a unic strategy of our country, other countrys as Germany, Italy, France and  other nations of Europe also started to dub products that came from other places. There was also another reason: make the products cheaper. Many spanish films were shooted without sound and were later dubbed on a study.
